This vehicle is a semi-trailer with a loading system designed to enable it to load / unload from the side of the vehicle. Side Loaders are the most common method used for the transportation of sea containers. With a lifting capacity of 30 Tonne (with permit), they require a width of 9m to effectively load / unload and a minimum of 20m length for access to position.
Side Loaders are designed and utilised for the transportation 20’ and 40’ Shipping Containers.
